THE GENERAL SITUATION
One man intends to finish an IRONMAN 70.3 before he turns 40. The survey closes 1 December 2029.
He has run 631 kilometres from a standing start, been stopped for a season by a knee and returned, and cannot yet swim a stroke. The training happens on the coast at Balbriggan — see the inset — and the reckonings happen here, in the bay. The figures are pulled from his instruments, not from his opinion of himself.
